Software Internal Training Auditor

Overview

Auditing is often looked at as policing. A good audit adds value to the system as a whole and is not a fault finding exercise. It is a mechanism to provide early warnings to the management on the health of the processes. As internal auditors one added advantage is exposure to other prevalent practices in the organization.
Defining appropriate corrective and preventive actions to close the reported non-conformity is a critical part of Auditing. The root cause of the problem should be targeted for elimination, rather than working with temporary fixes.
This course has been designed to instruct IT and Software professionals in the Principles and Practices of Internal Quality Systems Auditing. The course shall prepare potential Internal Quality Auditors to conduct, report and audit for compliance to ISO 9001 (as interpreted by ISO 9000-3), in accordance with the guidance in ISO 10011.The course will teach you to devise, plan and maintain an effective internal audit program in a software organization.
